The Law : The regional agreement
“Satobus-Grenoble” is part of the network Satobus Rhone Alpes, which groups together the regular bus services of the main regional towns : Grenoble, Saint Etienne, Annecy, Chambéry, Valence, Bourg en Bresse, Privas, Romans.
“Satobus-Grenoble” has been run by the “Cars Faure” since the opening of the Airport de Lyon-Satolas in 1985.
“Satobus-Grenoble” is subjected to an agreement with the Rhone Alpes region, the Authority in charge of the regional Public transports since 2003. This agreement imparts the exclusive rights for the public transports to the “Cars Faure”. For this road link, in return, the “Cars Faure” Company provides the full financial responsibility of the bus service.
From April, the 3rd 2006, the Rhone-Alpes Region and the Faure Company will put at your disposal a new personalized service : SATOBUS service on request.
The concept :
Picking-up the clients at their door (word place on home) and dropping them at a central point of the airport bus terminal. And vice-versa.

Top class minibus with specialized driving-staff. Around the clock everyday service..

Who is the door to door service for
Companies, research centers , administrations, executives and managers, their French and foreign clients, private individuals, tourists, families.
92 towns served by the service :
Grenoble and the whole metropolis, Voiron and its region. The Gresivaudan area as far as Touvet, southern region of Grenoble .
Two different systems :
- A private shuttle : reserved for one client only (but able to carry many passengers).
- A common shuttle : in the same time-slot and on the same route, there is a possibility to divide the journey with other clients (attractive Fares).
Un plus
Going from the airport to Grenoble, there is a possibility, in case of an early return, to use the regular bus service to Grenoble train-station where a vehicle will come to drive you home.
